About the role
We are looking for a Principal NLP Scientist to lead our Large Language Model research team. You will be responsible for advancing the state-of-the-art in language understanding, generation, and reasoning. This role involves conducting fundamental research, publishing papers, and translating research breakthroughs into production systems that serve millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Lead LLM research initiatives
- Define research agenda and priorities
- Publish breakthrough research
- Build and mentor research team
- Collaborate with engineering on productionization
Requirements
- PhD in NLP, ML, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in NLP research
- 10+ publications in ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS
- Experience training models with 10B+ parameters
- Track record of leading research teams
