Ankush Speciality Ingredients Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemical ingredients for the coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers (CASE), and construction chemical industries. With a strong R&D backbone and a growing pan-India sales network, we are expanding our leadership team to drive the next phase of growth. ROLE OVERVIEW The DGM – Sales will own the complete sales function for water-based systems and construction chemicals. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the President – Sales & Marketing, with responsibility for revenue targets of ₹25–50 Cr, a team of 4–6 direct reports, and direct engagement with key accounts across paint, adhesive, and construction segments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead B2B sales for water-based CASE chemicals and construction chemical additives across India • Build and manage key accounts: paint manufacturers, adhesive companies, waterproofing & construction firms • Develop strategic sales plans and implement value-based pricing strategies for the assigned region/segment • Own P&L for the business unit with revenue targets of ₹25–50 Cr • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team (4–6 direct reports) • Engage with technical and procurement teams; conduct product demonstrations and coordinate trials • Map market trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify growth segments and white-space opportunities • Collaborate closely with R&D on formulation feedback and new product development priorities • Manage CRM (Zoho) pipeline and generate weekly/monthly sales performance reports • Represent the company at industry events: FICCI, CII, Paint India, etc. MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS • 15–20+ years of B2B specialty chemical sales experience; deep knowledge of CASE chemicals or water-based additives is mandatory • Proven track record of key account management in the chemical industry • Experience owning P&L and managing a sales team • B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) / B.Sc. or M.Sc. (Chemistry) + MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred • Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho preferred) • Strong value-selling and solution-selling approach • Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai COMPENSATION • ₹25–30 LPA fixed + performance-linked variable • Travel allowance and expense reimbursement • Health insurance for self and family Reports To: President – Sales & Marketing
