## About the role As the first engineering hire at Kodiact, you will architect and own the technical foundation of our agentic intelligence platform, collaborating closely with the founders and shaping both product and engineering strategy. You'll work in a hybrid, high-ownership environment, directly impacting how global manufacturers optimize procurement through AI-driven systems. ## What you'll do - Architect and transition our MVP codebase to a scalable, production-grade system using React, TypeScript, and Supabase. - Design and implement evaluation frameworks and observability tooling to ensure robust, reliable agentic workflows. - Own and develop complex SAP S/4HANA integration logic, focusing on secure, idempotent enterprise workflows. - Build and enforce multi-tenant security, including RLS, tenant isolation, and audit-log policies. - Scale agent orchestration to handle complex decision trees and cross-functional workflows. - Drive product velocity by shipping features critical to daily customer operations. - Collaborate with founders on technical roadmap, product strategy, and customer engagements. - Uphold best-in-class software practices, including trunk-based development and CI/CD. ## What we're looking for - 5+ years of experience building production-grade software, ideally in AI/LLM-driven products. - Deep expertise with React 18, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Vite, Tailwind). - Strong backend experience with Supabase (Postgres, RLS), Edge Functions (Deno/TS), and enterprise integrations. - Proven track record integrating with SAP S/4HANA (OData) or similar ERP systems. - Experience designing secure, multi-tenant architectures and implementing observability frameworks. - Familiarity with AI/LLM integration, including prompt engineering, latency management, and hallucination control. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and technical decision-making. - High agency and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced, founder-led environments. ## Nice to have - Experience with SOC 2 compliance or enterprise security standards. - Prior work in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing domains. - Familiarity with Anthropic/Claude or similar LLM APIs. - Knowledge of pg_cron or advanced Postgres scheduling. - Contributions to open-source or technical leadership in early-stage startups. ## What you'll get - Founding team ownership and direct influence on product and company direction. - Opportunity to work with experienced founders in a high-velocity, well-funded environment. - Exposure to cutting-edge AI, agentic systems, and enterprise-grade engineering challenges. - Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on impact and growth. - Modern tech stack and autonomy to shape engineering best practices. ## How to apply Apply directly using the link — our AI interview will be the first step.
