## About the role As a QC Engineer (Robotics), you will lead factory-side quality control for AMRs, owning the installation and validation of autonomy stacks and acting as the technical bridge between engineering, deployment, and Shenzhen manufacturing partners. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success, engineering teams, and external manufacturing partners to ensure robust integration and delivery of Botsync's robotics solutions. ## What you'll do - Lead the installation, configuration, and validation of autonomy stacks on AMRs at the factory. - Integrate and validate robot hardware components including LiDARs, safety PLCs, motor drivers, and onboard compute systems. - Configure and troubleshoot ROS-based networking and system communication. - Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to verify AMR functionality, safety, and performance prior to shipment. - Diagnose and resolve hardware/software integration issues during bring-up and deployment phases. - Maintain detailed FAT reports and technical documentation for all tested units. - Support integration testing, simulation, and R&D activities as needed. - Travel regularly (up to 60%) to Shenzhen to coordinate with manufacturing partners and oversee quality processes. ## What we're looking for - 2–5 years of hands-on experience in AMR, mobile robotics, or industrial automation environments. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or Computer Engineering. - Strong experience with robot hardware integration (motor controllers, encoders, LiDARs, sensors). - Proficiency in Linux, ROS, C++, and Python for robotics applications. - Demonstrated ability in system integration, debugging, and troubleshooting complex robotics systems. - Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, or on-site deployment. - Excellent spoken and written Mandarin to collaborate with Shenzhen partners. - Willingness and ability to travel to Shenzhen up to 60% of the time. ## Nice to have - Familiarity with CAN, Modbus, or other industrial communication protocols. - Experience supporting R&D or simulation environments for robotics. - Prior exposure to safety PLCs and industrial safety standards. - Background in customer-facing technical roles or customer success. - Knowledge of documentation best practices for hardware/software integration. ## What you'll get - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics and automation projects with real-world impact. - High ownership and visibility across engineering, deployment, and manufacturing teams. - Exposure to modern robotics stacks and hands-on system integration. - Collaborative, cross-functional team environment with global partners. - Room for professional growth and skill development in a fast-evolving domain. ## How to apply Apply directly using the link — our AI interview will be the first step.
