Senior Technical Program Manager – Robotics at Clutterbot
Bangalore, Karnataka, India · noida · full time · senior level
Compensation: INR 4000000–5000000 per year
About the role
## About the role Clutterbot is looking for a creative, experienced Technical Program Manager to drive its robotics initiatives: simulation-to-real workflows, edge deployment pipelines and hardware integration. You'll own program execution across research, engineering and product teams to ship robotics solutions at scale. **Location:** Bangalore, Karnataka, India — hybrid, on-site at least 3 days a week · **Experience:** 8+ years in Technical Program Management · **Compensation:** ₹40–50 LPA · **Employment:** full-time ## About Clutterbot We are in the middle of a shift where artificial intelligence is speeding up every part of how we live and work. Clutterbot builds robots that maintain, organise and reset common public and commercial spaces: offices, campuses, venues and other high-traffic facilities. It is building a hybrid end-to-end architecture where classical and modern methods work together for the most reliability and robustness. The multidisciplinary team covers hardware, robot software, machine learning and product, with R&D in Bangalore and Wellington, New Zealand. ## What you will do - **End-to-end program execution:** own the roadmap and delivery lifecycle for robotics programs spanning software (perception, control and autonomy) and hardware (mechanical and electrical). - Own execution for robotics software initiatives from start to finish: requirements, schedules, risk mitigation and releases. - Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across hardware, product, simulation, model training, deployment, on-robot validation and more. - Bring an independent technical view: challenge assumptions, spot architectural risks and ground decisions in sound engineering principles. - Drive improvements to the product lifecycle (PLC) and lead release planning. - Run technical reviews, triage blockers and report status to stakeholders and leadership — helping teams make informed calls on scope, reliability, cost and schedule while engineering leads keep technical ownership. - Set up healthy program cadences, metrics, KPIs and reporting so senior leadership and engineering stay aligned. - **Risk and dependency management:** find technical bottlenecks and schedule risks early, and build and run mitigation plans before milestones slip. ## What you bring - BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, AI or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 8+ years in Technical Program Management delivering combined software and hardware products. - Hands-on robotics experience in one or more of: simulation-based development, deployment to edge or robot platforms, robot evaluation and benchmarking, sensor integration, autonomous navigation. - A strong grasp of software development fundamentals and Agile methods. - A track record of managing complex, multi-team programs with competing priorities. - Enough technical depth to evaluate engineering proposals, ask probing questions and give informed feedback — not just track schedules. - The ability to think long-term and build consensus so programs succeed. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication, including turning deep technical metrics into clear business insight for executives. ## What will make you stand out - A prior software development or robotics engineering role. - Experience with hardware/software co-development cycles. - A background in autonomous vehicles, manipulation or mobile robotics platforms. - Direct experience with robotics development and simulation platforms. - Familiarity with ML training pipelines, reinforcement learning or imitation learning workflows. ## Working model - Bangalore, hybrid: on-site in the office at least 3 days a week. - Full-time.
