The best AI sourcing tools for hiring in India (2026)

Nine AI sourcing tools for hiring in India compared as of November 2026: Naukri, LinkedIn, Weekday, Juicebox, hireEZ, SeekOut, Gem, Metaview and 100Networks.

For most Indian hiring teams the right answer is two tools, not one: a database that actually holds your candidates (Naukri for volume and non-tech roles, LinkedIn for senior and white-collar tech) plus an AI layer that does the searching, ranking and first contact for you. Which AI layer depends on how far past the shortlist you want it to go — some stop at a ranked list, some send outreach, and a few call and interview candidates too.

A note before the list. This post is written by 100Networks, and one of the tools below — the 100Networks Workspace — is ours. We have tried to describe every product, including our own, by what its maker publishes as of November 2026, and to say plainly where something else is the better choice. Most "best AI sourcing tools" lists in this category are written by a vendor that ranks itself first. We would rather be useful than first.

What India changes

Three things make India different from the US market most of these tools were built for.

Where candidates live. For software engineers, data scientists and product managers, LinkedIn coverage in India is good. For sales, operations, manufacturing, finance back-office and anything in a tier-2 city, many strong candidates keep their only current CV on Naukri. A tool that searches LinkedIn and the open web will look thin on those roles.

How candidates reply. Email reply rates in India are low for cold outreach. WhatsApp and a phone call often get an answer the same day. A tool whose outreach is email-first, with LinkedIn and phone as manual tasks, leaves the fastest channels to your team.

What you need to know before an interview. Current CTC, expected CTC and notice period decide whether a candidate is worth a hiring manager's hour. Notice periods of 60–90 days are normal at senior levels. A shortlist without those three facts is not yet a shortlist.

Naukri Resdex and AI REX

Best for: volume hiring, non-tech roles and tier-2 city hiring.

Resdex is Naukri's searchable CV database, sold to recruiters by licence. Naukri has added AI ranking to it over several releases — relevance sorting that learns from a recruiter's past selections, AI tags on profiles and CV highlights. In July 2026 Naukri launched AI REX, which it describes as an autonomous talent-sourcing platform that analyses job descriptions, recommends matching candidates and automates shortlisting, rather than relying on keyword search.

India fit: unmatched coverage of Indian job seekers who keep a current CV on Naukri, including many candidates who are not on LinkedIn at all. It is weaker for passive senior engineers who have not updated a Naukri profile in years.

Pricing: Naukri does not publish a standard Resdex price list; plans are quoted by its sales team.

LinkedIn Recruiter with Hiring Assistant

Best for: senior, technical and white-collar roles where the candidate's LinkedIn profile is their real CV.

LinkedIn Recruiter comes as Recruiter Lite (20 search filters, 30 InMails a month) and full Recruiter (40+ filters, up to 150 InMails per seat a month). Hiring Assistant is an add-on agent: it turns hiring goals into a sourcing strategy, runs searches while the recruiter is away, reviews applicants against criteria, drafts outreach and handles first prescreening questions. LinkedIn says it does not make autonomous hiring decisions. It became available globally in English in late 2025.

India fit: essential for tech hiring in India. Outreach stays inside LinkedIn (InMail), so WhatsApp and phone follow-up are your team's job.

Pricing: set by seats and company size; on request.

Weekday

Best for: Indian startups that want an India-built tool, or want someone else to run the search.

Weekday combines a talent database with an AI sourcing agent that finds candidates, including passive ones, and an outreach engine that follows up by email, WhatsApp and phone. It sells two ways: a contingency model where a dedicated senior recruiter runs the search, and a marketplace subscription where an in-house team gets database access and outreach credits. Its public site carries India job listings and India-specific candidate tools such as in-hand salary and notice-period calculators.

India fit: strong. It is one of the few tools here with WhatsApp and phone outreach built into the product rather than left as tasks.

Pricing: contingency at 15% of annual salary with a 60-day replacement period, no fee without a hire; subscription priced on request (10k–150k credits).

Juicebox (PeopleGPT)

Best for: recruiters who want fast natural-language search over a very large global index.

Juicebox searches 800M profiles from 30+ sources in plain language and ranks the results. Its Juicebox Agents learn from the job description, intake calls and your feedback, then source around the clock. Sequences send email through Gmail or Outlook; LinkedIn connection requests, InMails and call steps can be added, but Juicebox's documentation says these are treated as tasks a person completes rather than automated sends. It lists 100+ ATS and CRM integrations.

India fit: good for tech roles where candidates keep public profiles. Juicebox's FAQ says region-specific sources are being added and points to sales for regional coverage, so test it on an Indian role first.

Pricing: Free plan; Starter $99 and Growth $179 per seat a month billed yearly ($119 and $199 monthly); Business on request; Agents add-on $199 per agent a month.

hireEZ

Best for: larger teams that want agents working on top of the ATS they already have.

hireEZ sources from 1B+ profiles across 45+ platforms, and its EZ Agent runs sourcing, applicant review, conversational screening (voice or chat) and scheduling on top of an existing ATS. A talent CRM rediscovers past applicants. Its stated rule is that nothing moves forward without recruiter approval.

India fit: works for India tech hiring through public profiles; its site does not describe India-specific channels such as WhatsApp.

Pricing: solo recruiters from $494 a month with a 7-day trial; enterprise on request.

SeekOut

Best for: global and regulated hiring, and teams that want to defend each shortlist with evidence.

SeekOut searches 1B+ profiles alongside your ATS, adds applicant evaluation with AI screening, and offers an AI Coworker in early access. It is particularly strong in specialist populations such as cleared and healthcare talent.

India fit: usable for India tech roles; its product and examples are US-centred.

Pricing: Sourcing Core at $149 a month billed annually ($179 monthly) with a 14-day free trial; larger plans on request.

Gem

Best for: teams that want sourcing, CRM, ATS and scheduling in one system.

Gem combines an ATS, a talent CRM, an AI Sourcing Agent over 800M+ profiles, an application review agent, fraud detection, scheduling and analytics. It can run as an all-in-one or on top of Greenhouse, Workday, Lever or iCIMS.

India fit: good tooling, but nothing India-specific is described on its site.

Pricing: a Startup Program for very small companies is listed on its pricing page (free for six months for teams under 30 people); other plans priced by company size on request.

Metaview

Best for: teams already using Metaview for interview notes who want sourcing in the same place.

Metaview started as an interview notetaker and now sells agents for sourcing, application review, screening and notes, plus email outreach sequences and an AI coworker called fillmore that finds candidates, runs outreach and books screening calls. Its screening agent runs recorded voice conversations and supports Hindi among other languages.

India fit: the notes and screening language support is a plus; outreach is email-based.

Pricing: Sourcing is free for the first 100 profiles, then $100 (Pro) or $300 (Max) per user a month; enterprise on request.

100Networks Workspace

Best for: Indian hiring teams that want sourcing, outreach, calls and first-round interviews in one place, with a person approving every step.

The 100Networks Workspace is an AI hiring team for the roles a company fills itself. You attach the job description and its agents work through the night: the Sourcer finds and ranks people, including those not looking, and searches again round after round as you accept or reject; Outreach drafts email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp messages in your voice and holds them for approval; the Caller phones candidates, says up front that it is an AI assistant, and writes a report that pulls out answers such as current and expected CTC and notice period; the Interviewer runs AI interviews built from your job description. A Screener, Scheduler, Notetaker and an assistant called Pilot cover the rest. Nothing reaches a candidate until the team approves it.

When a role is too hard to run yourself, it can be handed to 100Networks' specialist recruiter marketplace from the same place, at 8.33% of first-year salary paid on joining, with a 90-day guarantee.

Where it is not the best fit: if you only need a large self-serve search index for US roles, Juicebox, SeekOut or hireEZ are more established. If your candidates are mostly on Naukri, you still need a Resdex licence. Access is by request and each team is switched on by 100Networks, so it is not an instant sign-up.

Pricing: set with each team; no per-hire fee on roles filled in the Workspace. Request access.

How to choose

Start with where your candidates are, not with features.

  1. Hiring mostly non-tech, volume or tier-2 roles? Keep Naukri at the centre and judge AI REX against a general tool on the same role.
  2. Hiring senior tech? LinkedIn Recruiter is close to unavoidable. Decide whether you want an agent inside LinkedIn (Hiring Assistant) or one that searches more widely (Juicebox, hireEZ, SeekOut, Gem).
  3. Need replies, not just lists? Check which channels each tool actually sends on, and which it leaves as manual tasks. In India, WhatsApp and phone usually decide response rates — Weekday and the 100Networks Workspace have both built in. Our guide to WhatsApp recruiting covers why.
  4. Want the tool to go past the shortlist? If the bottleneck is screening and interview time rather than finding names, look at tools that call or interview candidates as well. What is an AI recruiting agent? explains the steps.
  5. Run one real test. Give two tools the same live role for a week. Count how many people they find who meet the must-haves, how many reply, and how many arrive with CTC and notice period confirmed. That tells you more than any comparison page, including this one.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI sourcing tool for hiring in India?
There is no single best tool; it depends on where your candidates are and how much of the work you want done for you. For volume and non-tech roles, Naukri's Resdex and its AI REX layer cover the largest Indian CV database. For senior tech and white-collar roles, LinkedIn Recruiter with Hiring Assistant is hard to avoid. Weekday is built India-first with WhatsApp and phone outreach. Global tools such as Juicebox, hireEZ and SeekOut search very large profile indexes. The 100Networks Workspace covers sourcing through interviews with team approval before anything is sent.
What is an AI sourcing agent?
An AI sourcing agent takes a job description or a hiring brief, searches one or more candidate databases on its own, ranks the people it finds against the criteria, and returns a shortlist for a recruiter to review. Better agents explain why each person matches, learn from the recruiter's accept and reject decisions, and run again to close gaps in the list. Some stop at the shortlist; others go on to draft outreach, place calls or book interviews. In most products a person still approves who is contacted and what is sent.
Do global AI sourcing tools work well for India?
They work for roles where Indian candidates keep good public profiles, which mostly means software engineering, data, product and other white-collar roles. They are weaker for operations, sales, manufacturing and tier-2 city hiring, where many strong candidates are on Naukri rather than LinkedIn. Most global tools also send outreach by email and leave LinkedIn and phone steps as manual tasks, while Indian candidates often reply fastest on WhatsApp or a call. Run a test search on one of your own live roles before committing to any of them.
Can AI sourcing tools search Naukri's CV database?
Naukri's Resdex database is a paid product that recruiters access through a Naukri licence, and Naukri has built its own AI layer, AI REX, on top of it. Third-party sourcing tools generally search public profiles and the open web instead. If a large share of your candidates are on Naukri, plan to keep a Resdex licence alongside whichever AI tool you choose, rather than expecting another product to replace it.
How much do AI sourcing tools cost in India?
As of November 2026, a few vendors publish prices: Juicebox lists paid plans from $99 per seat a month billed yearly, SeekOut lists Sourcing Core at $149 a month billed annually, hireEZ lists solo recruiters from $494 a month, and Metaview lists sourcing plans from free to $300 per user a month. Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Weekday's subscription, Findem and the 100Networks Workspace price on request. Weekday also offers a contingency model at 15% of annual salary. Check each vendor's page, because prices change often.
Should an AI sourcing tool send outreach automatically?
For most Indian hiring teams, no, at least not at first. Automatic sending is fast, but a badly targeted message reaches a candidate under your company's name and cannot be taken back. Tools that hold drafts for approval, such as hireEZ and the 100Networks Workspace, or that keep LinkedIn and call steps as manual tasks, such as Juicebox, let the team check tone and targeting before anything goes out. Once the messaging is proven, approval can be relaxed for routine roles.
