## About the role MITCON is hiring a Lender's Independent Engineer to lead technical due diligence, TEV studies and project monitoring for renewable energy projects across solar, wind, BESS and pumped hydro storage — reviewing feasibility, EPC contracts and energy yield, and reporting to lenders and financial institutions. **Location:** 142 Pinnacle Tower, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India **Salary:** As per industry standards ## Key responsibilities - Conduct Lender's Independent Engineer (LIE) assignments for renewable energy projects. - Perform Technical Evaluation (TEV) studies and technical due diligence for lenders and financial institutions. - Review project feasibility, design documents, EPC contracts, equipment specifications, energy yield assessments and project schedules. - Monitor construction progress, commissioning activities and operational performance. - Identify technical, commercial and execution risks and recommend mitigation measures. - Prepare detailed technical due diligence reports, progress reports and monitoring reports. ## Required skills and qualifications ## Education - B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy or Energy Studies. ## Experience - 7–9 years, with strong experience in TEV studies and technical due diligence. ## Project sectors - Solar, Wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Pumped Hydro Storage (PHS). ## Skills - Sound understanding of renewable energy technologies and project financing. - Excellent analytical, report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills. - Able to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality technical reports to deadline.
