Join India's most talent-dense robotics team consisting of individuals from IITs, Stanford, UCLA, and more. ## About the Role As the Lead Robotics Software Engineer at Origin (formerly 10xConstruction) you will develop robotics software for our AI Robots. You will design and implement robot manipulation & control algorithms, motion planning systems and navigation systems, leading the development of robust, scalable solutions that redefine AI-driven robotics in construction. ## Compensation ₹60–80 LPA + ESOPs · On-site, Bengaluru

Responsibilities

• - Develop robust general-purpose robotic manipulation modules. - Implement advanced algorithms in ROS, including real-time control and manipulation. - Design behavior trees and decision-making frameworks. - Integrate perception and control systems for autonomous robot operations. - Build and maintain simulation environments for system validation. - Lead the development of advanced algorithms for robot navigation and control. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable robotics solutions.

Requirements

• ## Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor's/Master's (MS or PhD) in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field. - 5-10 years of experience in Robotics, Manipulator systems, Control Systems, localization, mapping, and navigation. - Motion Planning algorithms for 6DOF manipulators. - Expertise in creating ROS2 drivers, with proficiency in MoveIt2 for manipulation and Nav2 for navigation tasks. - Proficiency in using simulation environments like Isaac Sim for realistic scenario testing and development. - Excellent programming skills in Python & C++ with familiarity in ROS. - Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. ## Must-haves (non-negotiable) - Minimum 8 years of industry experience - Robotics background is a must - ROS experience and knowledge of ROS fundamentals is a must - Experience and knowledge in navigation and manipulation are preferred - Robot learning experience is a plus - Simulation experience is optional - Managerial + IC role — will lead a team of 4-5
